My review:

Read from August 21 to 22, 2012
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
As a final book to the series, it wasn’t half bad. Though it seemed kind of rushed, and it seemed to lack the flair the other books even the later of the series, where the direction took a different course. But it was very nice to see the original flock all together again, even with the added Dylan to it. The book though had definitely gotten better, when Fang returned to Max and the flock. My opinion is, is that he should’ve never left. Dylan doesn’t belong with Max, never did, regardless of what those people had said. Fang and Max always belonged together. They are ying and yang, peanut butter jelly, the other half to their souls. So it was great when the book went back into the direction of them getting together, than the direction of Max and Dylan though don’t get me wrong Dylan was okay, he just wasn’t Fang. But now for the storyline. Ummmmmm, well, ok it definitely lacked finesse, though the ending that was actually quite unique, and really I thought super cool. Except the whole part about Max’s mom being brainwashed, and how Jeb’s power was washed away, that seemed a little hokey. The island, and the total apacolyptic wash out of the island, and half the island under water, and up high cliffs…. it was completely perfect… except that the rest of the flock was trapped underwater in caves. But all in all it was a nice ending especially when Max finally told Fang that she “loved him”
